Hallie was born and raised just outside of Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Growing up in a small town fed Hallie a love for the outdoors and rural Colorado. Hallie prefers to spend her time outside; skiing, on horseback, on the water, or in the mountains.
From a young age, Hallie was given the responsibility of caring for her own animals. Raising lambs taught her important life lessons and how to care for others besides herself.
As much as Hallie loves Steamboat, she equally loves to travel. Since she was little she spent the summers with her family on Cape Cod, as she got older she desired to see more of the world. Her parents taught her the importance of experiencing and learning about other cultures and ways of life, sparking a love for adventure and new places.
After graduating from Steamboat Springs High School, she attended Casper College and competed on the livestock judging team. There, she earned associate’s degrees in Animal Science and Agricultural Business. She then attended the University of Wyoming where she was a member of the livestock judging team. Hallie graduated in 2021 with her bachelor’s in Animal Science Business and minors in Farm and Ranch Business Management and Agricultural Business.

In middle school, Hallie joined the local 4H livestock judging team. She was a shy kid who hated the thought of talking in front of others. Little did she know that spend the next 16 years of her life evaluating livestock and giving reasons. After a successful 4H career she judged at Casper College and then the University of Wyoming. During her collegiate judging career, she traveled the country with her coaches and teammates. The connections she made and the livestock operations she visited were invaluable.
Over the 16 years of livestock judging, she definitely became better at evaluating livestock however the friends made, places visited, and the experience gained in the livestock industry is second to none. Judging has given Hallie so many great opportunities and shaped her into the confident, professional, hard-working individual she is today.
Hallie grew up around horses thanks to her mom. One of her first horses was an ottb named Cohiba. He was a high-strung rescue. Hallie and her mom nursed him back to health and she spent as much time as she could by his side. He was the horse that gave her confidence and an understanding of horses.
In the winter of the 6th-grade year, they reduced 3 two-year-old fillies, spunky, untouched, and curious. Hallie quickly fell in love with the filly who had a C on her forehead and convinced her mom to keep her. She was determined to train herself, despite very little experience with green horses. She struggled for years, got bucked off more times than she can remember, and was told to give up more often than not.
After literal blood, sweat, and tears CeeCee has become the horse she can do anything on and Hallie learned more than she could have ever been taught.
